Craig added that following their breakup last year, his ex proposed getting married at BravoCon 2025 on the March 27 Southern Charm reunion.
Craig Conover took advantage of the Southern Charm season 10 reunion to discuss things that happened after the show’s filming was finished, particularly his split from Pagie DeSobro.
During the first segment of the reunion on Thursday, March 27, Craig, 36, stated, “She called me and broke up with me after Thanksgiving when Austen and I were about to do a live show.”
Craig claimed he didn’t spot any warning signs in his relationship, despite fans seeing it unravel on both Southern Charm and Paige’s show Summer House. The founder of Sewing Down South stated, “I built our relationship on our private time together, and there were no signs.”
When Craig appeared on Watch What Happens Live in mid-December, host Andy Cohen questioned him about why, if the breakup occurred just after Thanksgiving, he didn’t own up to it. Craig claimed that at the time, he didn’t believe the breakup “was real.”
This is not like a relationship; we ended things amicably, and I went on with my life. She dreamed about the family and other things, and we had been planning our life together for three years,” Craig added. “And so, yes, I had been in a strange place all through December, and we kept talking about it.”
Craig reaffirmed over the phone that after a “great” Thanksgiving weekend spent with her folks, Paige ended their relationship.
“She told me, ‘I think we need to break up,'” Craig recalled during the phone conversation. “I’m saying that’s not how I got it.”
Indeed, Craig disclosed that following the Watch What Happens Live taping, he visited Paige’s residence in New York City to discuss the state of their relationship.
“I just went to her apartment and asked, ‘What’s going on?'” Craig remembered. She said, “I need to go find myself, even though I’m probably making the worst mistake of my life.” “Well, what do you want me to do with the ring?” I inquired. She responds, “Well, keep it.” We might tie the knot at BravoCon.
That seemed like a decent idea to 56-year-old Andy, but Craig’s costar Molly O’Connell felt that Paige sent him “a lot of mixed signals.”
Craig remarked, “I don’t remember dating her as the person she’s kind of been since the breakup.” According to what the internet is claiming, she is arguing with others in the comments and has begun to say hurtful things about me. And I just say, I did nothing wrong. It’s been an intriguing breakup to say the least, even though I wasn’t the ideal partner and had a lot of s— to work out.
Craig didn’t begin to accept the separation until Paige sent her a cargo of his belongings.
He mentioned her declaration on Giggly Squad on December 30. “Two days before New Year’s, she texted me and said, ‘I just want you to know, you know, I talked about it on my podcast that we’re no longer together,'” he recalled. Then one day, all of my belongings appeared on my porch. Like, and then it was real.
Craig also said that he asked the fashion influencer directly about the allegations that Paige had left him for another man.
“I’m not dating or talking to anyone, Craig,” she said. Craig remarked, “Then she said some crazy things.” “Well, she… It makes no difference. It’s not insane. “Why didn’t you try to get me back?” she said. “I have been trying to get you back,” I said. That is unfair. “I think it’s very clear that we both made the right decision,” she said after that. “We didn’t make this decision,” I said. I wouldn’t have gone.
Craig responded that he knew “you shouldn’t be with someone you have to beg to be with” when Andy questioned him about why he didn’t stand up for Paige. “I just wish she would have been honest from the beginning,” Craig continued.
