It happens to be a Sunday. Many people keep Sundays in a special way. So let’s try and see how the movie is doing and how much money has been made for that.
What Went Down on the Second Day?
Alright, let’s get started with what went down on the second day, that being Saturday. Many people had enough free time for themselves and could watch Devara. Movie theaters really got crammed. In the morning, it hit 46%, the movie. Which means a lot of seats were already filled. In the afternoon, it hit 65% and hit 70% towards the evening. By night, it reached 80%! That is good news for the movie.
So, let’s talk about how much money the movie has raked in on Day Two. For the Telugu version, it’s supposed to rake in some ₹30 crores. That’s so much! The first day was around ₹172 crores. So, to see the second day’s collection, we can say it is around ₹40 crores in total. This is really exciting!
So, how was the Hindi Version?
Hindi is also doing good. On Saturday, it collected 9 crores at the net. This is good since there were mixed reviews about the movie. Some people liked it while others did not. This is despite the mixed reviews; many fans of NTR went to see the movie. This goes on to show how much people love him.
What About Other Languages?
Other languages: The movie was also released in other languages. In Kannada it collected approximately ₹35 lakhs, in Tamil, it collected ₹1 crore, and for Malayalam about ₹25 lakhs. If we add up all these numbers, the total collection for all languages on Day Two is approximately ₹40 crores. That is a great success!
Day Three:
Now, let’s talk about Day Three, which is today. Today, it’s Sunday and most people are off from work. So, there will be more people who go to the movies. I would anticipate an even bigger collection today than yesterday. Excitement about Devara is high. Most fans have already bought tickets for it.
Today, I feel the film will easily cross ₹100 crores worldwide. Even though Sundays can be tricky as people have to head back to work tomorrow, I still feel that the great word of mouth about NTR is going to help the film do really well today.

What makes Devara special is that it has a biggish star, NTR, whom many of the fans loved seeing around. His performances always raise excitement, and people love to see him on screen. The movie has a beautiful story to narrate, and this action in itself within the film will take many viewers to watch it.
Final Thoughts
In short, Devara is just great at the box office. A huge opening day and great numbers on Day Two promise Day Three to do even better. So, if you haven’t caught the fun yet, get off to the theatre soon! It’s a movie that lots of fun-loving people are enjoying.
