Apple isn’t really pumping out a lot of new apple products lately, at least nothing that feels incredibly exciting. But silver linings! The year 2024 still has plenty of time to go, and Apple has planned not just one but a second fall event. So, according to sources, an event in October is all but confirmed. So, get ready for the M4 Mac trio, two new iPads, and maybe even two surprise products. Let’s dive in on what we are looking forward to!

Exciting new Apple products in store:
New iPad Mini
Now, regarding the iPads. There is finally going to be an update on iPad Mini that everyone has been waiting for. This is coming out next month. It’s not a bombshell update that you would be expecting, but it’s not some mere spec bump either. Apple’s actually lining up some little changes for this new iPad Mini.
Perhaps one major drawback of the iPad Mini is its jelly screen effect. Sometimes, the left and right sides of a screen are not quite at the same refresh, which gives off that cheap look and feel that the iPad’s display sometimes suffers from. Apple will cure that this year.
The front and rear cameras have been improved, perfect for a camera enthusiast who loves snapping photos and videos using his iPad Mini. In this case, you get quality images captured by your iPad Mini, especially if this is a camera activity that you are often engaged in.

There is another interesting rumor claiming the new iPad Mini might probably accommodate the Apple Pencil Pro. Apple announced that in May. Since the present iPad Mini supports the same pencil as earlier iPad Pros, it seems somewhat logical for Apple to walk on this line.
The largest change would be the new chip inside the iPad Mini. This is likely to be either an A18 or an M1 chip in place of the Bionic chip, which would bring Apple Intelligence to iPad Mini for the very first time. Features such as writing tools and a new look for Siri are also included in it.

It could also feature Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. Of course, color options will also feature in the new product, as we saw with updated AirPods Max.
Updated Base iPad
In addition to the iPad Mini, another rumor suggests that Apple will upgrade the base iPad. By definition, the base iPad is the most modest of all models. So, the primary update here will be a chip performance boost, which will give this an update the character of a spec bump.

It’s unclear whether the entry-level iPad will include Apple Intelligence features. But its price has already been dropped this year from $449 to $349, and that is a pretty good deal for a tablet. New iPads will probably run for about 10 hours, as they have since 2010.
New Mac Mini
Then there is the Mac Mini: Apple announced this; actually, it was confirmed by Apple that a new version of the Mac Mini is in the offing. And this will have five USB ports, pretty much a lot for such a small computer.
These rumors claim that the new Mac Mini will be, in fact, the smallest computer Apple has ever made. Its supposed size is said to be about the same as the “Apple TV“. It is made of aluminum and the designing that is borrowed from its expensive sibling Mac Studio.
Inside the case, the new Mac Mini will come with three USB-C ports on the back and two on the front. Accessories will be much easier to connect. It will also come with a base M4 chip but can be upgraded to the M4 Pro chip. This chip is expected to provide the same performance as the M2 Ultra inside of the Mac Studio.

New iMac
Apple is also updating the iMac with a new M4 chip. Its design remains identical, but now only a single size: 24 inches. According to rumors, a bigger iMac is in the works, but it is going to be a long time before it arrives. The change here is purely on the new processor front.
New MacBook Pro
Expectedly, the new MacBook Pro will be the main attraction for this event. New versions at 14 and 16 inches are in store with M4, M4 Pro, or M4 Max chip. Not much of design change this time but will come faster with those upgrades in performance.
A lot of new things may come through in the future, such as a new touchscreen display and maybe OLED displays on the MacBook Pro. For now, though, it will be performance-oriented updates.
Surprise Products
This rumored new Apple TV has also circulated. We do not really see an updated one lately. It is said that it might be pushed to 2024. An Apple external display would probably be another kind of exciting product. A new 27-inch screen with mini-LED technology has been talked about this new device. Maybe it will have even 120Hz refresh rates, but we have yet to see.
Conclusion
In short, at least three new Macs and two new iPads are coming with potential for more products. The event seems much bigger than last year’s October event. Just imagine how interesting it is going to be what Apple will come up with after the last event left people disappointed.
Well, folks, who can wait? Just think of it. Apple will send out its invitations in the next couple of weeks, and we are nearer to seeing the new products than we have ever been!
