He posted on Instagram that the Transformers actress and her ex-fiance, Colson Baker, welcomed their first child together, a baby girl, on March 27. “She’s finally here!!” MGK penned. “Our little celestial seed.” “We composed the score of the birth,” he added, adding that Travis Barker contributed music to the arrival of their daughter. Just one month after Megan revealed her pregnancy with a picture session and an emotional statement that mentioned her prior pregnancy loss, the MGK pair called off their two-year engagement in December.
She captioned the Nov. 11 photo with the words, “Nothing is ever really lost,” and then included a heart and baby emoji. “Welcome back.”

The 38-year-old is prepared to take on the next phase of parenthood, but it hasn’t been an easy journey to welcome her new baby. The author of Pretty Boys Are Poisonous revealed in 2023 that she miscarried the child she and MGK were expecting.
She stated, “I’ve never been through anything like that in my life,” during her appearance on American Talk. “I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us and it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately…trying to navigate, ‘What does this mean?’ and ‘Why did this happen?'”
Despite the recent conflict between MGK and Brian, the two, who were together intermittently for four years until their final split, are dedicated to being the best co-parents to their family’s newest member.
When it comes to growing his own family, MGK, who has a 15-year-old daughter named Casie with his ex-girlfriend Emma Cannon, acknowledges that he has a tense relationship with his own parents but wants to break the trend.
He posted on the “Life Lessons” YouTube series in 2015, saying, “As much as an f–k up people say I am, I pray that I have the connection I didn’t have with my parents with my kid.” “Nothing else matters when I’m with her.”
The “maybe” singer also wants his children to be happy, just like any other parent.
“I was just walking behind my daughter in the airport the other day and she just has this walk, it’s this pure bounce, she’s so excited for life like she’s so young in her life,” MGK, 34, subsequently revealed on a December 2021 visit on The Drew Barrymore Show. “I just pray to every God that exists that she just keeps that bounce forever and that no one interferes with that.”
Regarding her three eldest children, Megan has been candid about the highs and lows of her co-parenting experience.

And in some respects, that gives me the opportunity to have time for myself and live my life as I am, rather than just being someone’s mother, which is lovely, but you constantly battle with guilt and the sense that you haven’t done enough.
Even though Megan has been candid about her experience with parent guilt, she will always regret letting her kids be who they are. The mother of four was worried about how people would view her family when her oldest kid, Noah, started wearing gowns at the age of two.
She went on, “I have no control over how other people respond to my kids.” “I can’t control the things that other children—that they go to school with—have been taught and then repeat to them.”
Ultimately, Megan realized that her steadfast support for her child was the only thing she could control. She said, “That’s also why I don’t really post my kids on Instagram or other social media.” “I’m so proud of my kids.”
