Mahindra and Mahindra is set to unveil New Electric SUV vehicles in the market. These new EV models include the BE.05 and XUV.e9 models. The new cars look promising and will be hitting the markets soon. Let us go down into details of these two exciting SUVs.
Introducing the BE.05
The BE.05 will be the first new model to launch around January 2025. Mahindra showed the BE.05 as a concept in 2022, and now we see it almost ready for the roads. The final design is quite close to the concept. The BE.05 has the look of a future model, with sharp lines and sporty body lines. The production model features conventional mirrors and differently placed door handles.
The measurements of this SUV are 4.3 meters in length and 1.6 meters in height. The BE.05 is of a similar size to the popular Creta, but it is wider at 1.9 meters that will give it a robust road presence. The wheelbase stands at 2,775 mm, placing the BE.05 well ahead of its class.

Design Features
The BE.05 boasts Mahindra’s new C-shaped LED lights. It also has some cool aerodynamic features, such as air ducts between the lights to help improve airflow. Big wheels sit inside bold wheel arches, giving it that chunky and robust look.
With its high deck boot and sloping roof, the BE.05 is endowed with a unique tail lamp design in the C-shape, which gives it a sporty rear end.

Inside, the BE.05 carries much of the theme. It is cockpit-like, with a dash that wraps around the driver and co-driver to separate them. It creates much of the driver-focused environment.
There will be dual screens: for the instrument cluster and the infotainment system. The head-up display is also included, providing important information in view of the driver. The cabin will boast the latest tech and comfort features, including an illuminated logo on a two-spoke steering wheel.

What powers the BE.05?
The BE.05 will be based on Mahindra’s new INGLO electric skateboard architecture. It will be offered with two battery options – a 60 kWh battery, while the bigger option is a 79 kWh battery. The WLTP cycle should be around 450 km.
Over the air at more than 175 kW, both battery packs will be supported for ultra-fast charging. This means that its owner will able to charge the larger battery pack from 20% to 80% in about 20 minutes. BE.05 models will be available in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive formats with sportive driving.

The powertrain of the BE.05 will be provided by a Valo motor that makes 230 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque. The starting price will be around 20 lakh rupees and goes all the way up to around 25 lakh rupees for the top-end variants.
On The Cards Next: The XUV.e9
Some months later, reported Mahindra, BE.05 will see the XUV.e9 hitting the roads. Many are familiar with the XUV700 in a coupe version. The new XUV.e9 will have the same INGLO architecture like BE.05 but would come stylishly different.
The XUV.e9 will have a sloping profile while retaining the practicality of an SUV. It boasts of slim DRLs and a closed-off grille at the front, making it look very modern. The roofline will slope down towards the rear, thereby improving the car’s sporty look.
Interior Features of the XUV.e9:
Inside, the XUV.e9 will also be presented with a three-screen layout. One screen will have the dials, the second infotainment and the third for the front passenger. This screen will also be used with apps, games, and video streaming which will keep fun for all in the car.

The XUV.e9 would continue with some advanced tech, including an improved Dolby Atmos sound system. More importantly, the model will be sold just in rear-wheel drive, much like the BE.05, and it would feature similar power ratings for the Valo motor.
XUV.e9 will be seen with both 60 kWh and 79 kWh battery packs. The base models are likely to kick-start at around 25 lakh rupees, and the high-end models will soon reach 30 lakh rupees.
